Purpose of this page is to elaborate the financial rules applied at AKESO Clinic for inclusions , exclusions of package , cancellations , refunds or postpone other charges on your hair transplant .

Cancellation – A date has been booked by you but you want to cancel your hair transplant at AKESO . And you are not planning it within next 3 months at AKESO .

Postpone – You want to postpone your hair transplant date from your current alloted hair transplant date .

Refunds – What is rules related to refund after cancellations of procedure

Cancellation rules and charges

Why cancellation charges for hair transplant surgery : – When a hair transplant date is booked for you , you are reserving 6 – 10 hrs of Operation theater , doctors and staff time . Your reserved date and time is not offered to any other patient . So if you cancel it suddenly then this date and time slot reserved by you may not get booked by some other patient . As clinic provides this days surgery to doctor and employees and pays fixed expenses like rent etc so clinic losses money if you cancel a date reserved by you .

Why not fixed charges for cancellation of surgery : – if patients cancels 1000 grafts hair transplant procedure , then it is just 3 hrs of clinic time loss if he cancels surgery . IF patient books for 2500 grafts then clinic may lose 7 – 8 hrs OT time . So we calculated the cancellation charges according to package cost instead of fixed cancellation charges. Further if you cancel your procedure 20 days prior to your booked date , clinic has high chances that it will get a second patient for that date by giving him some discount and offers . If you cancel it 3 days prior to HT date then chances of booking that date by some other patient is less so cancellation charges are more

Charges of International patients –

Rules and charges are same as indian patients but refund of money after deducting cancellation charges is not available if any international credit card or international bank transfer. International patients can be refunded by Cash , western union and moneygram . International patient can book through any indian bank account ( self or any relative or friends indian bank account )  to get refund of advance money like indian patient .  If you are not willing to use cash , western union or moneygram to get a refund then A credit note is issued to international patients which can be utilized by them or their family member or friends within 3 years for any service at AKESO hair transplant.

Rules and charges For Fixed Date Packages ( Premium Packages )

Kindly note that if you wish to change date then charges equivalent to cancellation charges has to be deposited . Later on when you deposit bill on day of hair transplant on new date , those charges are converted into date change charges. Suppose a category has 10 % cancellation charge but only 5 % charges as date change charge then you have to deposit 10 % + GST when you put request for change of date . But at time of final billing only 5 % + GST will be charged and rest 5 % will be utilised in new date as Hair transplant charges .

Cancellation charges –

  1. Cancellation 45 days before scheduled date – Rs 1000
  2. Cancellation 1 month before scheduled date –  Rs 2000
  3. Cancellation 15 – 29 days before scheduled date – Rs 5000
  4. Cancellation 8 – 14 days  before scheduled date – 8 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 8000 + GST
  5. Cancellation 3 – 7 days  before scheduled date  – 15 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 15000 + GST
  6. Cancellation within 48 hours before 12.01 am of HT date – 20 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 20000 + GST
  7. Cancellation after 12.01 am on date of scheduled hair transplant surgery – 30 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 30000 + GST

Cancellation date and time will be calculated as per your email or whatsapp for request for cancellation .

Date change charges –

  1.  1 month before scheduled date – No charges
  2.  15 – 29 days before scheduled date – No charges
  3.  8 – 14 days  before scheduled date  – 3 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 3000 + GST
  4.  5 – 7 days  before scheduled date or start date of flexible date packages – 5 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 5000 + GST
  5. 48 hours – 96 hours before surgery date – 10 % of total package
  6. 48 hours before 12.01 am of HT date – 15 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 15000 + GST
  7. 12.01 am on date of scheduled hair transplant surgery – 20 % of total package – if your ht package is Rs 100000 + GST then you will be charged Rs 20000 + GST

Change date request date and time will be calculated as per your email or whatsapp for request for request.

Implications of Positive corona report

If corona report is positive then date change charges will be zero if hair transplant is scheduled within 1 month. If hair transplant date is scheduled after 1 month then normal date change charges are applied. In case patient cancels the procedure then normal cancellation charges are applied to the patient.

Schedule of Payments

Payment schedule for Fixed date Surgery

  1. 10 % as advance for booking surgery
  2. 30 % payment – 7 days prior to surgery
  3. Rest 70 % payment – on day of surgery before 11 am

Other charges

Other than the charges described above following charges are applicable

Hair transplant consumable Charges

  1. If total bill of hair transplant is below Rs 60000 then Rs 23600 ( or lesser if your bill reaches Rs 60000 by adding less than 23600) are added to your bill as consumable charges apart from per graft cost
  2. If total bill is more than Rs 60000 then Cost is taken as per calculator .

Late coming charges on day of hair transplant

As we schedule other patient appointments and call the surgeon according to time provided to you so if you come late on day of hair transplant surgery then following charges are added to your bill

  1. Upto 20 mins – No charges
  2. After 20 mins – Rs 150 per min ( Rs 9000 per hour )

Use of credit Card or INTERNATIONAL DEBIT CARD for payment 

  1. If your package is non discounted package – Super Premium and Premium 1 Package then no extra charges for credit card payments
  2. If you are on premium 2 package or flexible date packages which are already discounted then 3 % charges will be collected if you pay by credit card .

Use of INDIAN Debit Card for payment 

  1. If your package is non discounted package – Super Premium and Premium 1 Package then no extra charges for debit card payments
  2. If you are on premium 2 package or flexible date packages which are already discounted then 1 % charges for indian dosmetic cards and 3 % charges will be collected if you pay by international debit card
