How to schedule your travel for hair transplant in India

Lets first discuss the preparations

1. You need to quit smoking 2 weeks prior to hair transplant.
2. You need to quit medicines or multivitamins 7 days prior to HT
3. You need to Use anti dandruff shampoo with 2 % ketoconazole shampoo starting from 2 weeks prior to hair transplant. It should be daily 10-minute application for 2 weeks if you have dandruff or itching in your head
4. If you have lot of white hair, doctor has to use black colour to colour your hair to see your hair better during the hair transplant. Always do allergy test or sensitivity test 4 days prior to your hair transplant if you have never used any colour in your life. if you are already using a colour, then you can just carry that colour with you. Clinic will apply that colour in your hair. colour must be black.
5. If there is any medical history of any treatment has been taken in past you inform doctor
6. if you are having high blood sugar, then it should be discussed with doctor in detail
7. If you have high blood pressure then it should be discussed in detail with doctor

1. There may be post hair transplant swelling on your forehead and face for initial 3 -5 days after your hair transplant
2. you can apply normal cap after 3 days of hair transplant so you can hide both your donor and recipient area after 3 days with cap
3. You need to trim your head hair to do hair transplant but they will take at least 2 -3 weeks to grow enough that nothing looks odd when you resume office.
4. You cannot go to swimming pool for 3 weeks after hair transplant. You cannot give exposure to sunlight for 3 weeks so you have to wear cap when you go into sunlight
5. There are scabs in transplanted area which take 7 – 12 days to shed. But you can cover these after 3 days with cap. There may be problem in office if the cap is not allowed in your office.
6. You can resume office after 4 – 5 days of hair transplant provided cap is allowed in your office. If cap is not allowed then it may take 10 – 12 days days to appear normal because of scabs.
